Introductions & Welcome Dinner
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our welcome dinner at the James Bay United Church. We had a lovely time meeting you all.
Our experience running workshops traces back to our early days as a UVic club. We foraged mushrooms, made blackberry jam, learned how to plant garlic, roasted fresh dandelion roots for tea and, perhaps most notably, held "build days" — drop-in events where we disassembled old wooden pallets and converted them into raised garden beds.
