Interested in watching garlic grow in your garden this year? Join us for our hands-on garlic growing gathering!

Rather than a formal workshop, you can expect a peer-led space for co-learning where we also get to dip our hands in some soil. One of our Curbside gardeners who spent a season working a garlic farm will share what she learned, and other members will contribute their best practices from personal experience as well. If you have garlic wisdom of your own, and you’d like to share what you know, this is the place to be! If you want to grow garlic and know nothing, well lucky for you this is also the place to be!

What to Expect:

• Seed Garlic Given: We’ll supply you with some garlic cloves to participate with.
• Sharing knowledge: Learn about planting depth, soil care, and about the plant’s lifecycle.
• Get Dirty: Plant some garlic with us on the boulevard!

Whether you’re a seasoned grower with tips to trade or a complete beginner looking to plant your very first clove, all are welcome! Bring a pair of gardening gloves if you have them (or don’t for a textured experience), and let’s get planting for next summer.
